DAVID’S AGE RESTRICTION: 13+ (Beware of agendas mentioned above)
DAVID’S REVIEW: As a huge fan of the first Shazam!, I had high expectations walking into the theater for Shazam!: Fury of the Gods. It was an enjoyable film with enough humor to keep you entertained and laughing. The storyline wasn’t as strong, and original, as its predecessor. Moments when risks could have been taken, the movie played it safe. It was a “been there, seen that” feeling many times throughout, especially during the action scenes.
Minus the agendas, the movie was solid. Expect more propaganda in future superhero films. I gave Shazam!: Fury of the Gods a 7.5/10.
