OFA REVIEW: Raya and The Last Dragon was visually a beautiful movie which was its best quality. However, the overall plot seemed rushed, predictable at times and was not well executed in some areas. Raya herself was a forgettable character, although a couple characters were not. This movie could have been a lot better - especially if it had a musical aspect to it like we’ve come to expect from Disney. I mean, how can you not have singalong songs in the movie like this?!
Towards the end, I didn’t feel a connection to Raya or most of the characters which meant the character development fell short - something you wouldn’t expect from a Disney animated flick. Raya and The Last Dragon, however, was enjoyable enough to give it your time and the kids will definitely enjoy it.
