OFA REVIEW: Fast and Furious 9 was funny, a whole lot of fun and does loyal fans of the franchise a good service. F9 was definitely the most ridiculous, over-the-top movie of the saga with unrealistic stunts and situations. If you can put reality aside, you’ll love the movie. The writing was great as the movie does a good job at filling in the gaps to previous plot holes or backstories of the characters — especially Dominic Toretto’s story. Ignore the movie’s length; there was never a dull moment. The special effects and the action scenes were top notch — although you did notice CGI at times, but it wasn’t too distracting. Lastly, we were pleasantly surprised, especially with this being a Fast and Furious film, that there was no sexuality, nudity or any other hidden agenda. This one is definitely safe to take your teen to. Just use caution if they want to watch the other films.
