8/10
SYNOPSIS: Together Together stars Ed Helms (Matt) and Patti Harrison (Anna) who play characters who are complete opposites in life. Anna is hired by Matt to be his gestational surrogate and birth his baby. As the two try to set boundaries in their professional situation, they soon find themselves in an unexpected relationship that neither of them saw coming.
RATED: R | Language, Some Sexual References
AGENDAS: Minor pro-life quib, but nothing to get too upset about. There was moderate LGBTQ characters and references within the movie.
NUDITY/SEXUAL CONTENT: No nudity, but definitely some strong sexual references and language. Would not bring kids under 16 to this.
OFA REVIEW: Together Together was a fascinating, well-acted film. The plot and character development kept you laughing and finding yourself not being able to take your eyes off the screen. Patti Harrison and Ed Helms’ chemistry on screen was beautiful and both gave awesome performances - especially Harrison. If you’ve seen the show The Office, Helms’ character was very similar to Andy Bernard, but his character seemed deeper in a way. We would have rated this a 9.0 if it weren’t for the ending - you’ll see what we mean when you watch the film.
