RT SYNOPSIS: A couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.

RATED: R | Strong Violent Content, Some Sexual References, Language Throughout

AGENDAS/PROPAGANDA: 9-10 uses of religious profanity; specifically “Jesus Christ”

NUDITY/SEXUAL CONTENT: Some minor sexual references to genitalia.

DAVID’S AGE RESTRICTION: 16+

DAVID’S REVIEW: Funny, witty, terrifying, original. One of my favorite movies of 2022 (minus the use of religious profanity). I enjoyed it from start to finish. Ralph Fiennes was fantastic. Casting and acting were on point. Only weak part of the film was the overall payoff at the end to the madness. It seemed cheap and not worthy of the masterful setup. Go see it!
