David’s FULL REVIEW

8/10

RT SYNOPSIS: In "DC League of Super-Pets," Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack--Ace the hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle and Chip the squirrel--to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes.

RATED: PG | Mild Violence, Language, Action, Rude Humor

AGENDAS/PROPAGANDA: Same-sex scene when one of the pets talks about his previous owners - scene shows two women swooning against a tree. Very brief, but still noticeable. Fake profanity - one of the Super-Pets curses, but it’s bleeped out.

NUDITY/SEXUAL CONTENT: None.

DAVID’S REVIEW: Super-Pets was fun and hilarious. Good writing was the strength of this film and both adults and kids will enjoy it. DC fans will be satisfied with many aspects of the film including cameos from other DC superheroes. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart did a very good job voicing their characters. The storyline/writing was engaging enough to where you’ll forget you’re listening to their voices. You’ll have fun. I wouldn’t mind a sequel to this.
